Road & Bridge #2 Seasonal Operator

CHEYENNE COUNTY Road & Bridge District #2 is accepting applications for a seasonal operator. Position will work up to 40 hours/week with no benefit packet. CDL not required, but beneficial, and position pays $11.40/hour. Selected applicant will be required to pass a drug test before beginning employment, then be placed on random drug/alcohol screening.

Human Services Generalist Technician/Bookkeeper

Cheyenne County Human Services is seeking applications and resumes for a full time generalist case services technician/bookkeeper. Great benefits, working conditions and competitive salary. Experience a plus, but will train. Position will begin at $11.90/hour DOE with health insurance, mandatory retirement program and paid time off after 3 months. Job responsibilities will include front office duties including phone skills, helping customers, utilizing basic office machines, drafting budgets, compiling reports and documenting information in various State computer systems. Specific programmatic responsibility including preparing for audits and program reviews both internal & external necessary. The person must be able to travel for training and be able to spend a few nights per year away from home. The individual will need to read detailed State regulations and follow rules.

Personal characteristics desired include: attention to detail with a focus on providing customer service and desire to work with diversity of services/programs. Individual must be timely, organized and enjoy working with a variety of clientele. Flexibility and desire to work in an ever changing environment needed as well as a pleasant personality. This position requires the ability to work independently, be self-disciplined, a self-starter and the ability to learn remotely (webinars, phone, email, etc).

Human services departments in Colorado are State supervised and locally administered.

Qualifications: valid driver's license, minimum of high school/GED and computer knowledge. Specific software applications will be taught and minimum proficiency in Word & Excel beneficial.

Public Health Homemaker

Cheyenne County Public Health has an immediate opening for a part-time Homemaker/Personal Care Aide for the Cheyenne Wells and Arapahoe areas.

Job requirements: dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, experience preferable but will train, references required, background check required.
